Free Speech, Anyone?
A City of Springfield IT Director was fired on September 15th for posting opinions on his private social media about a politically violent commentator who was assassinated. This appears to be backlash from right-wing populists and political managers who felt they were silenced in recent years by left-wing advocates. Though the right-wing appears to be particularly abhorent of liberal academics, I still feel the need to point something out as objectively as I can.
